Triumph were formed in the late 1800s based in Coventry, initially producing bicycles and then motorcycles They became one of the largest and most well known motorcycle manufacturers worldwide and are still in business today Racing in the early days was a key marketing strategy, victory on the track inevitably meant more sales Triumph had TT success from as early as 1908 hence the firm introduced a road-going TT replica Fitted with a variable pulley gear system with direct drive This example was extensively restored a few years ago including a full engine rebuild with new piston, valves, guides and bearings Verified and known to the VMCC, has competed on numerous Banbury Runs with a previous owner famously stating 'no hill has beaten it yet' Great piece of rideable Triumph history Dry stored inside our vendor's house for the last couple of years so may need some basic recommissioning before road use UK-registered on a current V5C
