We have just imported this superb 2015 Toyota Pixis dropside KEI class truck. The Pixis is what the Daihatsu Hi-Jet is sold as in Japan and is one of the leading Kei trucks/vans on the Japanese domestic market. The 52 bhp 600cc engine delivers ample torque and a comfortable 55 to 60 mph crusing speed. The transmission is a 3 speed automatic conventional auto (not CVT). The carrying capacity is 350kg and the vehicle weight is 770kg. Fuel tank capacity is 40 litres. This is the highest grade vehicle we have imported from Japan to date, at grade 4.5/A. It has covered just 2350 kms from new which is just 1460 miles. If this truck was on sale in the local Toyota dealer as a brand new vehicle, you'd believe it! It looks like this vehicle has never seen rain let alone road salt. When it arrived I didn't even need to wash it, just a wipe down was required. I wonder if it was used in a large warehouse back in Japan? There is barely a mark on it and it still retians the 'new car smell'. Our preparation has included replacing all four tyres (the originals were perished), applying clear under seal, fitting a rear fog light for UK MOT requirements and replacing cabin filter, air filter engine oil and filter. Two keys are present along with the original maintenance booklet, tool roll and rubber load area mat. The specification includes: air-con, remote central locking, power steering, electric windows, radio/CD changer (being the Japanese unit it has the narrow 88.0 to 89.3 fm wave band), cup holder, driver airbag, cubby areas, rubber carpet mats and cabin baggage hooks. This fantastic little truck will appeal to many users; commercial, leisure & recreational or simply just as a collector grade example to add to your collection of Kei vehicles.
