Background:Introduced in 1998, the Discovery 2 was built upon the success of its predecessor with improved refinement, safety and capability. The TD5 engine, developed in-house by Land Rover, brought enhanced performance and durability, while retaining the model’s reputation for versatility both on and off road. In ES specification, the Discovery offered a high level of comfort and equipment, making it equally suited to family use, long-distance touring and daily driving. Well maintained and largely original examples are now increasingly sought after.
