This well-used 1965 Jaguar E-Type S1 FHC is a matching-number example, imported to the UK from California in 1989 and UK registered in 2008. It has been MoT tested most years since then, and currently has an advisory-free MoT to 2nd September 2026. The car has been converted to right-hand drive, and has a canvas sunshine roof which is currently taped up.The odometer displays 22,577 miles. We sold this car in 2019 when the odometer showed approximately 99,999, so it has been well used since then. The V5C indicates only one former keeper in the UK.Among the paperwork are old tax discs, MoT certificates, Californian registration cards and various receipts, mostly dating from the car's years in the UK. One of these, dated 2006, describes a gearbox and partial engine overhaul, including a lead-free head conversion. A letter from Jaguar Cars Ltd., dated 1989, confirms that this car was originally manufactured on 31st March 1965 as a black, US-market E-type. Spare keys and a period lubrication chart are also included.This is an intriguing rolling project Series 1 E-Type, with obvious room for cosmetic improvement, but also ready to enjoy. Not specified
