Background:A true landmark in motorcycle history, the Honda CB750 redefined performance and reliability when launched in 1969, earning its title as the world’s first 'Superbike'. Its four-cylinder engine, front disc brake and electric start set a new benchmark, with the early sandcast and die-cast K0 models now among the most collectible Hondas of all. UK-supplied examples are extremely rare, especially those with known early provenance. The Bike:Registered new in the UK in January 1970, this particular K0 is one of approximately 20 early examples imported by Honda to 'test the water' prior to wider release. It is believed to be one of the first four CB750s brought into the country, making it a highly significant machine in British and Japanese motorcycling history.
