This fabulous matching number 900SS was sold by us in 2017, so we are delighted to be re offering it again, it has a great history and remains in good order. Supplied new by Shirlaws Motorcycles of Aberdeen, Scotland 1st Aug.1980, it is among the last of the bevel drive bikes as the new Pantah engined Ducati’s were already in production. The first owner sold the bike not long after purchase as he found it a handful, after another UK owner it was re registered in Germany when the third owner moved there. The engine was subsequently rebuilt by RN-MotorTechnik of Reutlingen which was completed in 2014. Other restoration work included the frame being powder-coated and the body work repainted. The current milage of 37,146 appears correct as we have old MoT’s that go from new to 1997 when the bike was showing 33,792. A nice example that is in good running order and generally fine condition it is a well maintained example that has a good history file of the restoration work and is supplied the original Ducati service log, current UK V5C logbook plus a workshop manual. The original indicators and a spare screen are also included with the sale.
