The Bultaco Sherpa was a revolutionary trials motorcycle developed in Spain in 1964 in collaboration with trials rider Sammy Miller. Its lightweight, two-stroke design made it superior to heavier British four-strokes, dominating the sport and leading to eight World Trials Championships wins in the 1970s The 249cc 'Model 49' was part of the successful Sherpa T line produced around 1968-1971 This superb example has recently been fully restored and with much spent and is ready to ride or show Full nut and bot restoration including the frame powder-coated and professionally painted, sealed fibreglass tank and new roller head-race bearing Full engine rebuild including re-bore with new piston and rings, new bearings and seals and a new crank, new cables new airbox and filter and the carburettor has been ultrasonically cleaned with new jets fitted Both wheels fitted with stainless spokes and have new trials tyres fitted, along with new chain and sprockets, new swing-arm bushes, new rear springs and the forks have been re-built.
