I have owned this very original Mauritius Blue BMW convertible since purchasing it from Classic Chrome in 2009 at which time it had a mileage of 120,000 miles. The mileage now stands at 153,703 but may increase by a small amount until sold. The car has had 5 former keepers. I have kept the car professionally/specialist maintained and have spent well over £10,000 on servicing and improvements during my ownership. It has a very thorough and comprehensive history with invoices for works done as well as MoT’s and sundry items. The car also has it’s original wallet of documents which includes a stamped service record. Professional paint respray in original colour in 2011. Cambelt replaced in 2018. New hood, motor and webbings courtesy of CE Moore Coachtrimmers Ltd in 2013. New Cat 2 Thatcham approved transponder immobiliser fitted in 2021. New radiator with expansion tank and cap in 2022. Full conductor board rebuild of the original unit in 2023. Driver seat bolster professionally reupholstered in 2024. Roof operation mechanism service by CE Moore Coachtrimmers Ltd in 2025. Rear shock absorbers and top mounts replaced in 2025. Heater blower motor replaced in 2025. Recent service record: Interim service May 2021 at which time mileage was 151,586. Full service in May 2023 at which time the mileage was 152,823. Further service on 10 December 2024 at which time the mileage was 153,435. The original alloy wheels have been refurbished and they come with the correct ‘waffle’ centre caps. The car is in lovely original spec condition and is frequently complimented by both garages and passers by. It is a joy to drive but as I only use it occasionally and have other cars in my collection I have reluctantly decided to down size and sell.
