This is a very rare caochbuilt James Young example supplied new to Crawfords Biscuits in 1957. Whilst at James Youngs, the car was sent back to Crewe to have power steeing fitted by the factory which makes it a pleasure to drive, particularly when at low parking type speeds. The original registration number was ULX 631 and the engine was numbered BB74. The body is the 4 door 4 light saloon by James Young of which 26 were built on the Bentley chassis. The design was B10 and the body number was 3024. Detailed Bills come with the car detiling assorted correspondence between the New York based owner & Ashton Keynes restorations & document just how exhaustive the restoration process was. Indeed it emerged from their premises looking like a new car. The car presents beautifully in Regal Red over Tudor Grey with the paint being immaculate.
