The Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I four-seater was a sportscar produced between 1959 and 1961. This version of the popular sportscar featured four seats, making it a practical option for families and those who wanted to enjoy the open road with friends. Under the bonnet, the Austin Healey 3000 Mk. I four-seater featured a 2.9 litre straight-six engine capable of producing up to 124bhp, which was mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. This engine allowed the car to accelerate from 0-60mph in just 11.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 112mph.

Our vendor purchased this example in 2017. It had recently been imported from the US and was treated to some restoration work in the UK prior to the sale. At the time of it's purchase in 2017, the braking and steering systems were brand new, as was the exhaust, suspension, soft top, carpets, upholstery and electrics. The present owner has taken great pride in maintaining and enjoying the car over the past eight years and has now decided it's time to try something else, so is offering his Austin Healey, very excitingly, without reserve. This example would be perfect for continental trips and we think the yellow exterior really suits the car in the sun. The overall condition of the car is superb and is ready to be enjoyed by the next custodian right away. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document, various invoices and a BMIHT certificate.
