1952 SUNBEAM 58 - £Auction
In current ownership since 2013. Vendor States: This restored 1952 Sunbeam S8 was purchased and restored by me in 2013. The restoration included: Fresh paintwork and re-chroming, Brand new wiring loom, Rebuilt wheel, Numerous new parts sourced from Stewart Engineering (receipts available). This is one of the most original examples of the Sunbeam S8 you’ll come across. It features matching engine and frame numbers, original Amal carburetor, Smiths speedometer, horn, steel mudguards, and all original tinwork. Included in the sale are original handbooks, service sheets, Owner’s Manuals, and a selection of spare parts. Since the restoration, the bike has seen very little use—only 300 miles covered in the last 10 years. It is currently SORN. Oil and plugs recently changed, alongside a once over by the guys at Roadster Dover which included a Condenser, Points, Headstock and carb adjustment. Runs a rides well. The vendor has supplied a comprehensive folder in his ownership.
